Get Involved

Being involved in School Council or the PTA is a great way to show your kids that you take an interest in their education, and it sends a positive message that you consider school a worthwhile cause.

By interacting with teachers, administrators, and other parents on a regular basis, you'll gain a firsthand understanding of your child's daily activities that can help you communicate with your kids as they grow and change. Our School Council and PTA offer a variety of opportunities to suit a variety of interests, talents and schedules.  Be part of the team at the school that SHINES!

Win Ferguson Parents represents both the Win Ferguson School Council and the Win Ferguson Parent Teacher Association (PTA). These are two distinct groups.

School Council - What We Do

Our Win Ferguson School Council is an active part of the school community. Every parent of a student attending Win Ferguson Community School is automatically a member of School Council. Our goal is to support and enhance student learning by working together with administration and members of the community to promote the well-being and overall effectiveness of the school.

We meet once a month to discuss matters relating to the school, our children’s education and special events. The Win Ferguson School Council does not handle its own money. The Win Ferguson PTA handles all monies related to activities planned by our parent group.

PTA - What We Do 

The Win Ferguson Parent Teacher Association is the official name of our registered fundraising society. The Win Ferguson PTA provides a means for parents and community members to provide additional financial resources and support to the school. The Win Ferguson PTA supports programs such as Club Moo Milk Program, Hot Lunch and Treat Sales, and events such as Family Bingo and Family Dance.

The Win Ferguson PTA meets monthly immediately following School Council meetings.

To place a Hot Lunch order please click the link above. If you need assistance with ordering please contact the Hot Lunch Coordinator, Paige Keroack, at paige.randall24@gmail.com. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you have ordered a hot lunch and your child is absent that day, you may pick it up from the school between 12:10pm - 12:35pm. There are NO REFUNDS as this is a PTA fundraiser.

Volunteers!

We are always in need of volunteers. There is a volunteer page in the online system where you can checkmark which dates you are available. The lunch coordinator will then contact you with a proposed schedule.

Hot Lunch Ordering Instructions

Milk Program

Through this program, you can purchase milk tickets for your child to redeem for 2% white or chocolate milk with their lunch.

Payments for milk can be made by cash or cheque (made out to WIN FERGUSON PTA).

Please allow a week for tickets to be processed. Ordered tickets will be given to your child's teacher to be sent home. You may order tickets anytime throughout the year, so please do not order all tickets at once.

School Start

The Win Ferguson PTA will be participating in the School Start program!  You may now purchase your child’s school supplies through School Start for the 2023/2024 school year. 

Our school PTA will receive $5 per kit purchased!

Watch for a letter with instructions for ordering and next year’s grade specific school supply lists that will be sent home with students.
